Had the poles ~6wks before the weather and schedule co-operated to try them out. They served their purpose very well! I am not an avid cross-country skier, so these suit my needs just fine after my dog snapped in half one of my "vintage" bamboo ski poles from the 1970s. Still using my wooden trail skis from that era as well, but upgraded the boots and bindings a few years ago. I'm unstoppable now with this new combination of vintage and "high tech." ;) | |

These are great for kids. A little thicker than regular ski poles to hold up to the abuse that kids put their ski poles through. Loops are easy in and out. | |

Bought these poles as part of a package, so I was wondering if the quality might not be as good as if I purchased some poles a la carte. Nope, these are fiberglass poles! Very light, strong, and accurately sized. I'll be using SkatePro for all my future winter sports purchases. | |
