Dante Hutchinson is a pro scooter rider and talented musician. With a humble and big-hearted personality, Dante has an impressive track record in the scootering world. He won the ISA World Scootering Cup in 2017, became a four-time UK Champion, and secured the second spot at the FISE World Championship in 2022. Needless to say, we're absolutely thrilled to have him on our team!

Dante's riding style is a captivating blend of technical finesse and jaw-dropping tricks. He discovered his passion for scootering at the tender age of 5, and even now, at 22, he still holds a special place in his heart for his first skatepark, the Gooden, in his hometown of Eastbourne.

Team SkatePro Q&A

Q: How did you come across SkatePro, and what do you appreciate the most about being part of our team?
A: I stumbled upon SkatePro about 4 or 5 years ago. At that time, scootering was rapidly growing, so I decided to embark on a trip to Denmark and visit the SkatePro HQ to meet the staff. SkatePro stands out as a unique family that encompasses all action sports. No one else does what SkatePro does. I'm genuinely grateful to be a part of this exceptional team.

Q: In addition to being a champion, you also teach scootering. How do you inspire your students to stay motivated and overcome challenges?
A: It's crucial for me to understand each student's weaknesses and focus on improving them while gradually building confidence and consistency in nailing the tricks they struggle with. I'm stoked to see huge progress in all my students at the moment. They're absolutely killing it!

Q: You also make music under the moniker of Mally 22: we love your tunes! Could you tell us a bit about this project?
A: Thank you for your kind words! I've been making music for about three and a half years now. Music has always been a passion of mine, and I've been surrounded by it since I was a kid. My mother used to organize local music events, and I was always there, loving the atmosphere. When I turned 19, I found myself in a recording studio for the first time, and I haven't stopped since then. I have a ton of new music lined up for release this year, and I'm incredibly excited to share it with the world. Music is my way of expressing myself since I'm not the best at talking about my feelings with people. Being in the studio and creating music is my happy place!

Q: Music plays a significant role in the action sports community. Do you have a favorite playlist for when you ride?
A: I'm not a big fan of riding with headphones, but I enjoy a wide range of music genres, from chill vibes to heavy beats. Some of my favorites include Russ Millions, Central Cee, Nino Uptown, DD Osama, and Lil Mabu.

Q: You certainly have a lot going on. What's your next step?
A: My future plans revolve around staying motivated and finding happiness in everything I do. In life, there will always be setbacks, but I use them as fuel to bounce back even stronger.
