Joséphine is a versatile scooter rider who's equally great at hitting the streets, skateparks, or bowls. She's held onto her love and passion for scootering since day one, always aiming to better herself, both on and off the scooter.

Q: How did you get into scootering?
A: Back when I was in primary school, my buddies and I would hang out on the streets every single day after classes. I started out with a skateboard, but then my friend Guilherme introduced me to scootering. He showed me some slick tricks and videos, and I was instantly hooked. I begged my dad to get me a scooter, and before we knew it, our entire crew had scooters. Guilherme and I still ride together, just like the good ol' days, and that's where my love for scootering took off.

Q: How would you define your style?
A: So, when it comes to my style, it's kind of hard to pin down. I've got this street riding vibe going on, but I'm not afraid to switch things up and hit the ramps, rails, and ledges. I'm all about exploring new parks and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. To be honest, I don't really like boxing myself into a specific category – I'm all about doing my thing and just enjoying the ride.

Q: What is your favorite scooter clip?
A: I've seen my fair share of awesome scooter clips, but if I had to pick a favorite, it's definitely "Gabe and Riley | LA" on Ohlay Brand.

Q: How did you discover SkatePro?
A: My SkatePro story begins a few years back in 2016 when I stumbled upon Maxime Bouzid's welcome video. That thing was pure street magic, and I was hooked. Fast forward to the World Championship 2023 in Madrid, and I met two representatives from the SkatePro marketing team. They got me linked up with SkatePro, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Being part of this team is a blast, and it's pretty rad that we've got athletes from all sorts of action sports coming together. I mean, riding with inline skaters, skateboarders, BMXers, and other scooter riders of course – it's a melting pot of awesomeness.

Q: Any tips for aspiring pro riders?
A: Okay, here's the secret for every rider looking to score sponsorships and rock the scootering world: have a blast! Seriously, whatever you're doing, make sure you're having a blast doing it. If you've got scootering dreams, hit up those scooter events, put together some epic videos, and just keep pushing forward.

Q: How is it to be part of the Ethic team?
A: I joined the Ethic family last year after the Dissidence Coalition in Mexico, and it was like a dream come true. Even better, my best bud Mia Catalano hopped on the team too. We've had some crazy times, from wild trips to epic sessions, and it's all about that family vibe that Ethic brings to the table.

Q: What are your favorite Ethic scooter parts?
A: The Lindworm V4 deck is my go-to, especially the 6.3'' version. It's got the perfect balance for rails, and the width is spot on for me. And you know what? It doesn't weigh me down when I'm shredding the park. Pair it up with the Ethic Trianon bar – they're a match made in scooter heaven.
